Laundry Love Glencoe is a mission project supported by Christ Lutheran Church through prayer, volunteers, and dollars. The mission of Laundry Love is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by providing opportunities for low income, or no income families to wash their clothing and build relationships with members of Christ Lutheran Church.

History & Information

Laundry Love Glencoe began on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019.
 
Christ Lutheran Church’s Mission & Outreach Team support the development of Laundry Love Glencoe through time, sponsorship, assistance, and providing volunteers.  
 
Individuals are provided with $10 in quarters, groups of 2 are provided $20, and groups of 3 or more are provided with $30. Laundry detergent is also provided as well.
 
Committed volunteers are on-site during Laundry Love hours to assist with handling of monies for machines, receiving prayer requests and building relationships with our neighbors.  
 

Funding Streams & Partnerships

 
Laundry Love partners with Glencoe Laundry Center and will donate 10% of the day’s income back to the program.
 
Laundry Love is actively contacting other organizations and congregations to build support for this ministry.
 
Glencoe United Fund has awarded Laundry Love $5,000 to begin this important program in Glencoe.
 
Christ Lutheran has also committed $1,000 annually to support this program.
 

How Can You Support Laundry Love Glencoe?

You can help support the Glencoe Laundry Love in a number of ways, including:
– Donate $10 or $25 monthly.
– Donate Laundry Detergent.
– Thrivent Members can request Action Team Grants to support Laundry Love Glencoe.
– Serve on the Laundry Love committee.
– Pray for this important ministry.
