*These two groups of co-chairpersons are to coordinate funerals on a rotating basis. They are to contact the callers who will telephone individuals to bring food and to work in the kitchen. One of the charpersons should be responsible for buying the groceries necessary and keeping records. At least one of the chairpersons should work the day of the funeral. Each chairperson will be provided a copy of the funeral policy/guidelines. If there is any problem finding something in the kitchen, please contact a member of the kitchen guild listed in this booklet and/or on the bulletin board in the kitchen.

Christ Lutheran Church Women Kitchen Policies 1. The CLCW will serve only CLCW functions. 2. There must be at least one member of CLCW on Kitchen staff whenever the church kitchen is used for other than the church sponsored functions. 3. Towels and table linens will be laundered by a member of the kitchen guild. They are to be left in the church kitchen and will be picked up and returned by a designated person. This applies to all activities when the kitchen is used. 4. Dishes left at church following activities will be placed on left top open shelf on North wall of kitchen. 5. All leftover food shall be removed from the kitchen refrigerators within 24 hours or person responsible for kitchen will discard. Left over food shall be sent home with family after funeral or divided among the serving group as applicable after other events. 6. Rolls of plastic table covering are available. They are kept in the storage room in the hall. 7. At present we can serve 250 with available dishes and silverware. We use paper plates for funerals and most functions. We use paper or plastic plates for desserts. 8. Appreciation gifts to CLCW for serving funerals will be used to purchase items for the kitchen, dishes, silverware, glassware, permanent utensils, etc. 9. There is a charge for non-member usage of the kitchen. Please check with the church office for particular information. 10. No Kitchen items are to be taken from the church.
