Dear Parents and Guardians,

It’s August and the church is preparing for the 2026-27 school year.

Vacation Bible School has wrapped up, some school activities have started, and those final sweet days of summer are upon us. One newly minted Kindergartner shared with me her excitement about shopping for a backpack, and tennis shoes.

Christian Education programming resumes after Labor Day.  We are recruiting teachers for two age levels.  Our greatest need is for the Wednesday evening ROCK program for grades 3-5.   The three grades combined are about twelve children. This class meets from 6-7pm twice a month.

Would you prayerfully consider being a teacher or co-leader with this age group?

Last year a sweet group of preschoolers-second graders met on communion Sundays. Adults wanting to help this age group are needed.   Mrs. Twyla Kirkeby adds a lot of fun with music and singing. The class is roughly 20-25 minutes long and meets just twice a month.
